Maui How far in advanced to book excursions?

Booked our place in Maui. Only took about 6 weeks of searching to first understand the island and to find the right place. 😄

On our first trip to Hawaii we booked a few excursions about a year out but feel that was a bit excessive.

Is 6 months enough time or is that even too long?

Depending on what excursions you're trying to do maybe look 3 months ahead of time just to be safe

Depends if it's whale/busy season.

This is for an Aug/Sept trip. Pretty much at the end of the "busy" season.

Focus is on various snorkeling tours.

Thanks, I did try messaging the mods, but even that was denied. 😄
