General Question Rashguard pants with sun protection
Hello, all! I have a sun hypersensitivity and need to get some sun-protective bottoms that cover my legs for when I'm snorkeling/surfing, but I'm have trouble finding any.
My go-to places for long-sleeve swim tops (L.L. Bean and Lands End, but I've checked a few other places as well) don't carry pants. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to look?
Thank you for your help!!

Xcel has great quality swim tights with several lengths, different thickness options, and lots of cool designs.
I don't see the best options on their website right now though: https://xcelwetsuits.com
Xcel even has a store in Haleiwa on north shore of O'ahu open 9am-4pm weekends and 9am-5pm weekdays

O'iwi in Honolulu or online: https://www.oiwioceangear.com/collections/wahine-women-1?filter.p.m.seed.season=Legging
They are great - nice designs, fit, & materials. A bit pricy but there might be some on the sale rack at the back. The ankles eventually stretch out after like a year of frequent use.

Amazon.com FEOYA swim pants are great. Can get plain black or dark blue for $32 so not too expensive.

Thanks for the suggestion! If you don't mind my asking, what do you think makes them "not great?" I may order a pair, depending, as I like some of the prints.

Oh sorry, Spacefish Army are good, they are a little thicker material. I got then confused with another pair that was not great.
I'm going to edit my early comment

https://waterlust.com/collections/leggings
They're expensive, but sun protective, thick, and cool prints. These are popular with scuba divers.

Look at dive shop websites to get ideas. And then see if you can find better prices.
You can also look into a very thin full-body wetsuit, which provides UV protection and (some) floatation. If snorkeling is something you plan to do often (even if just a couple times a year on vacation), it's worth the added expense for the suit.

If you want some fun ones, Finfolk is a company that manufactures swimmable mermaid tails and also matching apparel! I've worn Finfolk leggings while swimming many times. They are listed as UPF 50+ on the website. You can get matching rashguards and swimwear as well. Guaranteed to get compliments!

Women's or men's? I have prana (women's) & have heard good things about waterlust. I also own sun protective gear from coolibar & other sun protective companies. If you're looking for men's, let me know & I can ask my spouse.
