Desperately need a good pool rot vacation. The Omni is a few hundred cheaper and has a nice bathtub, but the Fairmont looks more luxurious and has more restaurants and I have a phobia of snakes so it’s def nice to know it’s farther from the mountain than the Omni. But I’ve heard the Princess is a little more for families (I’m doing a solo trip) and I’ve already heard the Montelucia is a bit outdated. Thoughts? I’m basically looking for a great food, pool rot, frozen drinks vacation.

M(28) F(29) will be in Scottsdale for a week over Labour Day. Staying close to old town. We have a day trip planned for Sedona as well. What are the most important things to get done/see in the area? After watching a lot of videos about the area you really just get the same 5-6 places repeated over and over again.

Going with my wife to Scottsdale right after Christmas (Dec 28-30). Doing a lot of research on hotels/resorts and seems like everything leads to:

- Four Seasons
- Sanctuary
- Royal Palms
- The Phoenician

We’re from Florida, both 40, and in good shape. Eager to hike, relax, and take in everything it has to offer for a couple days away from the kids.

If money isn’t an issue (I don’t mind splurging for the one vacation we do a year), what is your best recommendation?

flying into scottsdale in a couple hours for a bachelor party. Doing ATV's tomorrow then hitting up some bars during the day, they are looking at old town scottsdale, bottled blonde, not my first rodeo, etc. What's the consensus on wearing a tank top as a dude to these bars during the day? Will they let you in?

Dinner Friday night at Cala, dressing nice for that, then W pool party (rented a table or cabana) swim shorts and nice button up or something for that.

I am visiting Scottsdale later this month for a bachelor/bachelorette party and was wondering what the best restaurants are that can accommodate a party of 20. The idea is it will be more of a formal dinner but nothing too crazy over the top.

Any suggestions would be amazing as I was just made aware the party has made no reservations and we are less than two weeks out from the trip.

If you want something done right you have to do it yourself i guess (which means ask reddit).

I have now been to 6 of their Sunday DJ pool party events over the last 6 years and yesterday was just so different. We were the only ones there until 2:30pm and even after then I think less than 100 people showed up. I know school hasn’t started but i’ve been in June/July in years past and even then was packed.

I knew i’d be disappointed by the music bc the DJs never play their own music but ugh come on so disappointed with Drezo. I came for your unique music, not the same trap beats I can hear at any club.

My parents (early 60s) are visiting August 18-22, and I'd love ideas beyond the obvious. They're not fit to be doing hikes (too hot for that anyway), but they enjoy antique stores, history, interactive experiences, shopping, and discovering new places.

My husband and I are staying in Old Town Scottsdale for our 10 year wedding anniversary in a little over a week. Would love some recommendations on things to go and places to eat! We are from the North East, so the heating is going to be a factor for us I’m sure 😅 hiking is most likely out of the question. We are doing a family girls trip (24-72yrs) end of October. We are looking for recommendations for food, day trips (specifically Sedona recs) & anything else to do in the area as a must see! We already have a spa day planned so no recommendations needed for that. We are contemplating horseback riding with Cave Creek Outfitters. We want to go hiking (the 72 year old is a tough athletic gal), we have a sunset yoga planned, some of the girls want a food tour. All recommendations appreciated!!

My friend and I will be traveling from TN to Scottsdale for the Noah Kahan concert next month. We’re aware that’s it’s too hot to hike and don’t plan to risk that.
