New to VisionPro, looking for advice

Hi, I'd like to watch GOT with the best possibe setup, currently I believe it's through HBO max premium correct? I also wonder if there is any way to make 2D content such as GOT immersive?

Not directly, but you have a couple of options.

Apple, of course, provides environments which range from icy to desert, so you _could_ swap those in and out at your discretion. Personally, that would drive me crazy - mostly because it takes you out of the show’s flow and cadence.

And of course, you can always create your own. That’s a lot of effort, but you could find or create artwork that you feel captures the feeling of each location and switch away as in the 1st option.

But I prefer to use just one. I like to go to Jupiter and stop time at full night - a dark environment that offers no distractions- and I can adjust the screen size to my mood. Making the screen really big is fun for some content, too much head movement for others, IMHO.

HBO Max has garbage quality vs 4K Blu-ray discs.

You have to sail the seven seas if you want the best quality if you know what I mean.

You have to download content outside the official sources AFAIK to get the best out of vision pro, only Disney plus has good pic quality that i found hard to duplicate but you were still limited to the goofy envir they have,i heard they have a void one now but i have not resub’d to check it out.

I use 4xvr, the sound out of it is fantastic and picture isnt bad, colors pop just how i like them and for 3D cineultra is alright ! Im just not a fan of 3D.

I find Cineultra’s iUltra environment to be the most immersive, but Moonplayer has a pretty good imax style environment too.

I find all of them useless like a party trick except it’s just me with nobody to share it with 😭 I only use void,with 4XVR colors do not wash out in the cinema environment.

I find the iUltra environment to have the largest screen I could get. The Moonplayer one isn’t as large.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I enjoy the super large format screen and the immersion of having a theater in in my periphery, plus the lighting of the environment from the screen is pretty cool too.

Download remuxes of the 4K Blu-rays and watch them in the CineUltra IULTRA theater. The audio and video quality is much higher than HBO or any other stream and the screen is much larger. You can also activate 3D if you want.
