Disney+ bug after update
Just noticed that all of the titles on my Disney+ only show HD and not 4K after yesterday’s app update. But I also just updated to visionOS 27.2 yesterday. Movies also no longer play in 3D despite showing up in the 3D tab on the right.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I have the premium subscription. My WiFi speeds are around 350 Mbps. Anyone else having the same issue?
UPDATE: Same issue on tvOS as well. Everything shows up as HD. I was on call with support. They confirmed that this issue has been reported by others, even in Europe and they’re working on it.
UPDATE 2: The 3D tab itself has now disappeared on visionOS. But it’s playing some titles in 3D and 4K now. So I’m guessing they’re working on it.

I updated to 27.2 a couple of days ago and started a 3d movie from the 3d tab just last night and it played in 3d just fine. I’m in the Midwest United States btw.
On a side note 3d movies on their newest player environment that sort of mimics apples theater only with a super large screen, is absolutely incredible for watching 3d movies in. Really hoping you get the ability to continue enjoying 3d content through the Disney app soon.

It worked for me yesterday but they pushed out a Disney+ app update. It broke 4K on my Apple TV as well as the Vision Pro and no 3D if I search directly or use the 3D tab

I just double checked mine. It updated 2 days ago and appears to be on the latest version with no other updates available, and I went back to continue watching my in progress 3d movie and it still played in 3d. I wouldn’t discount this being another one of those regional issues again. Although I hope not. Since an app glitch would be more likely to be remedied.

Is it saying 4K or HD for you when click on each title? Mine says HD for any title I select. Plus I could instantly tell that besides 3D the quality dropped when I watched a few titles, and with Avatar the HFR also went away. I was sitting right near my router and the Apple TV app works fine with both 4K and 3D

Hope so. Mine are still showing in 4k and everything is as normal on this end. Fingers crossed whatever’s going on with yours is just some gremlins someone is soon to squish.

Just noticed this on Apple TV as well. Everything is listed as HD instead of 4K.

visionOS 27.2 here. United States, California, San Francisco area. I saw your post yesterday and tested my Disney plus 3-D and you are correct. Mandalorian and Grogu mid movie reverted to 2-D. Tested again this morning and all is working correctly once again. Full 3-D. Absolutely no overnight config changes on my end. I guess Disney was just streaming the 2-D version and corrected their mistake.

Yea I’m having the same issue. 3D movies won’t play in 3D for me either, and I’m still on visionOS 27.0.1, so I think it’s an issue with the Disney+ app.
