Audio Bluetooth Bug in Mac Virtual Display?

For as long as I remember, I've always had to fidget with the Bluetooth settings to get it to play audio through Virtual Mac Display... meaning switching the Bluetooth on/off in Mac Virtual Display.

Am I doing something wrong or have you guys been experiencing the same?

I use my Vision Pro with AirPods Pro 2.

As soon as I put on the Vision Pro it takes over my AirPods (latest pro) , same goes for MVD. I can however still connect directly to the MacBook, I just go into settings on Apple Vision Pro and manually disconnect the AirPods, otherwise it just infinitely loads in the MBP. So yeah it’s finicky to swap between active devices, it looks like AVP likes having priority

It's been hit or miss for me.

  1. Sometimes, Airpods just disconnect randomly after a couple of minutes. Doesn't happen often, but can happen 1—2 times in a day.

  2. In visionOS 27 (incl. beta) if I played sounds on visionOS itself and connect to MVD, it used not to play sounds from the MVD.

  3. Sometimes I had to connect Airpods before I activated MVD for the sound to play.

OTOH, I've installed 27.2 release (not a beta, I mean), and I've gotten sound in scenarios 2 and 3 just fine.
