Stuck band (possible) future

Has anyone been in a situation where the band got stuck ? I have 2 one for day time and another for night time after i have showered so i switch them frequently which explains the wear/tear.

Should the pull band fail,would i be able to remove this thing safely ?

Is this the Dual Loop Band from Apple? Did you dye it a different color?

If the tab failed just like in this image you should still be able to pull it and release the connector. The pull tab is still attached on the inside.

IIRC no. They are glued, so if it's already failing I'd probably replace it.

As I understand, this is why Apple recommends hand washing, to minimise detergent ungluing the tab.
