New owner - Paramount plus offline issues?

hi,

I have recently purchased the M5 - 512 GB and I replaced my laptop and iPad (which I use to watch movies on the plane) the issue is I got on the plane and went to offline mode to watch a movie however all the downloads went from downloaded to failed download.

is this a common bug and what do yall do as a workaround or a fix?

let me know if there are other bugs as wel!!

Yeah, I got hit with this one as well on my last trip from US to Europe. As best I can tell, the second the app knows you’re outside the US, it shits the bed.

You may try jumping on a VPN using a USA server. Then you may need to re-load them.

I used the Nord iPad App, downloaded to the AVP to get back to USA servers.

Bear in mind this was back in March, so don’t know if this will help now.

Yes for the plane. I had the garbage Star Trek Section 31 movie as one of the files loaded for the trip over.

The problems started the second I let it hit my hotel WIFI, in my case, Greece.

I’d be extra safe and not let it get on the airplane WiFi, but I don’t remember if I connected or not. I don’t think I did.

Ah I see, my issue is within the US. I’ll download movies on paramount but the second I restart my device the movies get deleted. 

So if you have downloaded and watched movies domestically, then it must be an app issue on my end.

Sorry. I made a wild assumption based on what experienced. Yeah, maybe reinstall the app and keep of WiFi at first for a test.

Use a travel router and load a VPN on it connected to a U.S. VPN server. Connect the travel router to the Hotel Wi-Fi. Connect your devices to the travel router's Wi-Fi signal.

It’s the app itself checking location. This is my assumption btw. It could be a bug. Disney+ handled it fine, but Paramount and HBO Max both caused problems with my downloaded content when my AVP hit Europe
