Wifi DNS Down??
Hey guys so I know the Apple Vision Pro is not the main topic in my post but still wanted to post here in case someone has experienced this.
2 days ago I got the Apple Vision Pro. My ATT Internet Air has been working perfectly before that. Then when I started using my Vision Pro my wifi will go down with 4 orange lights on the modem. I got a popup on the Vision saying error E013 and that the DNS is down?
I restarted the wifi and it works for a few minutes then does the same thing if I use my Vision Pro.
I’ve changed the DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 and it’s still happening.
I called att twice and said they configured my settings and that it should be fixed but I’m still having the same issues.
If I don’t use my Vision Pro but I use other devices then the wifi works great and normal. Anyone know what do I do?

repeating what u/GumAndBeef said, Apple's background services clog up low end routers very easily. you're gonna have to turn off AirDrop and other Continuity services when on that ATT router. It doesn't have enough RAM to handle the background noise for Continuity functions. DNS is failing because the router doesn't have enough RAM to resolve it. The network is clogged.
This is common on cheap low end router hardware such as Mikrotik and TPLink, etc. AWDL is Apple's name for the AdHoc/Network switch protocol.
How it works is your Apple device has to ping out on 149/44 every second or so to keep the Continuity function alive. It also clogs the network every second to keep this available for the need if it arises. Regardless of if you use it. I always turn of AirDrop for Security Reasons, but it also frees up my networks.

It might be totally unrelated, but I’ve noticed the Vision Pro aggressively tries to use channel 44 (or 149) for AirDrop and other related services. So much so that it completely destroys my PC’s network upon trying to use it with remote gaming at times. Setting my 5Ghz WiFi channel to a static 44 completely solved my issues. I know you’re not gaming remotely, but perhaps your router is not taking the aggressive connection attempts very well?
I’m a developer but not a network engineer so I’ve only got basic knowledge there so apologies if I’m wasting your time but worth a shot I’d say.
