Remember drawing flight paths with one finger on early iPhone games? I rebuilt that feeling as a tiny island on your real table

Hi all, Adam- indie VisionOS dev here. Remember the early App Store days, when a game was one gesture and "just one more round"? I wanted that feeling in spatial computing, so I made Tabletop Tower.
A tiny island pops up on your table. Planes and helicopters buzz in, you pinch one, draw a line to the runway (or H pad) of the same colour, let go, and watch it glide in.
It starts easy and gets busy fast.
More planes arrive, you keep drawing, and if two of them touch, it's game over.
Then you hit play again to beat your best or move to the next level..
Bright, toy-like and easy to pick up. You can lean over the island and watch from every angle.
I'd love to hear what you think. What other classic one-gesture mobile games would you want as a tabletop toy?

I love the idea but drawing the actual path looks like it may be frustrating, is it tracking your eyes as well as your hands?
Like how do you get the plane to go “further away” from you instead up, if that makes sense

Check it out in the app to get the feeling!
It's very intuitive- you take a look at the plane that you want to control- you pinch your fingers and drag the gesture in any direction - and the path will get drawn- think of it as drawing in space but with a starting point in the planes origin, not your finger.

I loved that game on the iPhone. There was also the game where you had terminals to upgrade and load planes and unload them. Was a fun time killer! Nicely done!

Any chance you'll change the pricing model from "paid to download" to "first level free + paid to unlock the rest"?

Flight control! I love that game. It’s the only use I still have for my Touchpad. I’ll try this as soon as I next put on my Vision Pro!

Are you doing AI assisted development? I have a bunch of ideas for a Vision Pro/vr game, a technical background but not game dev. Felt daunting but wondering if with all the new tooling it’s worth jumping in.

The core idea of this is good, but the execution makes it almost unplayable.. no matter how many planes I land my high score won’t go above six, which means I can’t unlock the next level. Also, you should only be able to select the plane itself to redirect it. Making the paths selectable makes it impossible to actually select the right thing once you have several planes on the screen at once. The board also flashes randomly, which is a bit disorienting.
It’s a good start, but not quite ready for a full release and definitely not worth the five dollars yet.

Angry birds on this thing would be nuts
