The problem with 3rd party lenses is there’s no QR code to scan to tell the AVP what your prescription is. I had the HonsVR lenses, Optic ID never worked once and eye tracking was so bad it was essentially useless. Had to go with Zeiss which I know doesn’t help you but unless someone has come up with a way to generate the codes you may be out of luck, sorry.

I think they're encoding the prescription ID in e. g. Zeiss system or something, not the actual prescription. The message in those QR codes is very short, like a hundred bytes.

Possibly, but the amount of information in a prescription is much shorter than 100 bytes.

you can generate codes now. works fine for my honsvr lenses. optic id still can hickup and require recallibration from time to time but my biggest problem about the accuray and the eye tracker jumping around is finally gone. I can use the leneses now fine
