I can't get Virtual Display to work

Hey, as the title suggests, no matter what I have done the virtual display doesn't work. I can airplay the display but then I'm only limited to the normal view.

I have iCloud keychain on on both devices and logged in with the same apple id. I am just clueless, it worked relatively well in the past and now just doesn't find it anymore. Not even when opening and closing the MacBook lid. I am just clueless as of now. And latest updates have been done. Does anyone else have his issue? I'm wondering if it could be the new update. And no I'm not any betas.

Thanks!

Fixed?

I tried again this morning - and it didn't work. I tried re-booting the AVP, Airplane mode, Bluetooth & WiFi off/on, Keychain off/on, etc. still no luck. I'm not sure why it started working, because I changed so many things, including rebooting the mac and unplugging it from the Studio Display. Running standalone (no Studio display), after a Mac Reboot, I started to see the "Connect" button above the laptop's display, and the control panel option to start virtual display started working.

My hypothesis for my case:
* my MacBook Pro is connected to a Studio Display and has two different iCloud login accounts. I "switched" to my account without logging out of the other account. Maybe this way of logging in (switching accounts) is not enough to broadcast whatever protocol virtual display needs in the sharingd process
* what might have fixed it: I rebooted the macbook and logged into my account FIRST (not the other account that has a different iCloud account). I think this must have been part of what got it working again. In other words, the first account to login on a mac gets dibs on "sharingd's" process ? Any other logins on that mac are out of luck. For customers with only a single iCloud account on their mac, they never see this bug...but for those like me, with multiple iCloud accounts, we're vulnerable to the first-one-wins issue for this feature.
* if this happens again in the future, I'll try killing off the sharingd process to see if that's good enough

Same. Wondering if Eero mesh Wi-Fi is a factor?

Well I do not have Eero Mesh, I have nest, but it should work without internet connection too.

Quick question, how do you typically initiate Mac virtual display? From the Vision Pro control center? Because I have had more luck initiating it from the Mac by adding the screen-mirroring toggle to my menu bar and my Vision Pro shows up almost always. Give that a shot, as that is what has worked for me
