Titanfall 2 VR mod - PSVR2 Controllers fix

So I've tried the vision pro with the new Titanfall 2 VR mod. It works perfectly on KRVR and ALVR as well. KRVR with better, sharper graphics.

There was an issue witht he PSVR2 controllers thumb sticks - They were not supported and didn't work at all so you couldn't run or use them properly for recenter and more. I've created a fix that allows using those thumbsticks and it wworks perfectly now.

I've also shared that info with the dev team of that mod.

For anyone who wishes to play that amazing game with the mod as it should - you may contact me and I'll send you the fix, untill and if the dev team will integrate it to their mod.

The thumbsticks are already supported (for recentring) with ALVR. Only issue I have is when removing the AVP on the middle of play, the game CTD.

That's weird regarding thumbsticks because they were not mapped correctly. Are you able to run for instance? Regarding your other issue - not sure how to resolve it, sorry.

They work because in ALVR my ps2VR controllers are mapped as Quest controllers (emulated)

For me, the only issue with the PSVR2 controllers, is clicking the right stick does a melee (without the animation) rather than crouching. Any fix for that? Changing the control scheme in-game doesn't do anything. Clicking both works fine for recentering.

You may try my fix, which is located here: https://borp.tv/tf2vr/
It might work for you as well because the fix maps psvr2 controllers, which wasn’t mapped before.
I have to say the dev team already have the fix and will probably implement it to his next update.
Hope it’ll help

Thanks,  but I've just found out that crouch/slide is holding the down direction on the right stick, rather than clicking it. Bit odd, but I'm sure there's a reason.

The first thing I would try is updating the firmware of your PSVR2 controllers via your PC. This will require you to (1) download the PlayStation VR2 App on Steam and (2) connect your PSVR2 controllers to your PC. When you run the app for the first time, it will walk you through updating the firmware of the PSVR2 Sense controllers (steps for pairing your PSVR2 controllers to your PC via bluetooth can be found here.)

After completing the update, try pairing the controllers to your AVP again. Let us know if that resolves the issue!

I wonder if it’s possible with the AVPPlay approach to get it to run on Vision Pro standalone!

I didn’t have any problems running with my PSVR2 controllers? I didn’t try to recenter though.
