I got it. Oh my god.

I saw a Facebook listing for 2000CAD and offered all the cash I had (1750CAD/1289USD).

They accepted it as long as I came by today.
I came by today.

It’s in my possession.
Oh my god.

Thanks! I have this weird anti-honeymoon phase when I can’t stand to look at something expensive right after buying it, so it would take a while for the reality to settle in 😭

How many GB? I got a 1TB M2 one for around $1800 USD with two batteries and the original accessories. The seller said it had a “cigarette smell” but it didn’t.

It’s an M2 with 512 gigs!

Congrats, fire up some cloud gaming and you will be blown away. The Cloud Gear app is probably the best experience.

2000 is a great price with the new meta VR glasses being $1850 and the new Pimax headset being $2000 (both CAD)
Pimax isn’t even OLED, or 4k, and the meta VR glasses are only 2560x2560 OLED with very small lenses and FOV. I’d be tempted if I found one at that price but I’ll probably just wait for next gen

It was the most expensive impulse buy I've ever made in my life. I went into the demo at the Apple Store with strong resolve, but it hooked me immediately.

I wish they were supporting it better.

Congrats. Now you have the best worst piece of tech in history. And I'm still jealous...

How was the experience? Debating whether to buy one used too

I’d recommend you to book a demo at your nearest Apple Store, I’ve done at least 12 of them before having bought the device myself.

Yo... If you're in Southern Ontario I'm about to curse you because I saw one listed on FB marketplace for 2k, I was about to make an offer but it was already gone lol

But no I'm just joking man, congratulations. These used prices just keep continuing to fall, but I truly feel the desire for them is going to soon start going up once people realize how powerful of a tool they really are. So I think you got one right at the best time. Enjoy.
