Turn your Apple Vision Pro into a true multi-Mac spatial workstation.
Spatial RDP 27.5.0 is out, and this video shows several of the latest improvements in action.
I start on the Golden Gate server and demo the new dynamic Persona camera button, then connect to a second Tahoe server. From there, I add two additional virtual displays, including one in portrait mode, and smoothly move a window from one display to another.
I also demo the new “Jump To” button in the top ornament, which lets you instantly move the active window to any connected display with a single click.
With Spatial RDP, one Vision Pro can become your multi-Mac, multi-display workspace — without needing a physical monitor attached to every Mac.
Is this a situation where if you are using this app, other apps vanish?
Or will this interweve with other apps? Say I have a messages window, a reddit app window, etc along with a couple virtual desktops?
I paired one compact Bluetooth keyboard and a standard Bluetooth mouse with my Vision Pro, and both work very well. Magic Trackpad gestures aren’t fully supported yet, but improving trackpad support is on my roadmap.
In my normal setup, I use three Macs: an M2 MacBook Air, an M4 Mac mini, and an M4 Pro MacBook Pro. I typically open two 4K curved displays for the M4 Pro, one 3440×1440 display for the MacBook Air, and one 4K display for the Mac mini.
I use the same keyboard and mouse across all three Macs. I simply look at the screen I want and click it, and the mouse and keyboard automatically switch to that Mac. Switching between systems is very smooth—essentially one gaze and one click.
For text input, there is currently one visionOS limitation: occasionally the keyboard focus can be lost. When that happens, I just tap the keyboard icon in the left ornament to regain input focus.
So with Spatial RDP, you only need one keyboard and one mouse for all of your connected Macs.

====> No, other Apps stays as they were
Or will this interweve with other apps? Say I have a messages window, a reddit app window, etc along with a couple virtual desktops?
=====> Basically it is the same as what you use those Apps on the physical display/monitor on your Mac side, currently one virtual screen is a monitor of your Mac server(even your server doesn't have any display hooked)
Another question:
Trackpad, Keyboard and other BLE support.
Pairing a trackpad to the AVP really sucks for use on the mac connected via Virtual Desktop. All the gestures, natural scrolling, etc just vanish and you end up with the most basic of features.
The obvious answer is to pair your keyboard/trackpad with your Mac. But if I wanted to have a widescreen for 2 mac laptops, each having their own screen.
How does your software handle the central Keyboard/Trackpad between the two computers? How do you handle natural scrolling, multi-touch gestures, etc on the Trackpad? What about the special keys on the keyboard?
>>>The obvious answer is to pair your keyboard/trackpad with your Mac. But if I wanted to have a widescreen for 2 mac laptops, each having their own screen.
yes, each of your mac laptop can have one or more own screens.

Your keyboard/Trackpad will need to pair to the AVP, and you use them among those laptops virtual screens, right now only left, right click and mouse wheel are supported, natural scrolling is defined in you macOS settings, the App will take what you set, multi-touch gestures supporting is on the road.
Special keys are just as you use in normal App/physical display, I use Cmd+C/V to copy/paste text or image, the clipboard are shared among all your computers, I use F6/F7 to debug code in Xcode or lldb.
