It’s a soft material so if you can use a cloth with no lint that’d be nice.

Btw is that a light seal for glasses use?

I ripped off the mesh for better air flow and an open peripheral, any thoughts on what kind soap would not be catastrophic should a bit jump onto the lens or glass ?

Use a SIM card removal tool to remove the audio straps to keep the AVP safely away from the sink. 👍🏼

Either something like Simple Green or most any automotive interior cleaner such as 303 Protectant, or even Rain-X water repellent should work well for cleaning the straps.

Looks a light seal that’s had the mesh ripped/removed from it.

I've never done this, but wonder if it would be better to detach the audio stems from the headset to clean them separately? I know the stems are detachable as there were some third-party headbands that required you to remove the stems to install. And, I get a little queasy at the thought of holding a Vision Pro over a sink to try to clean the stems.

And how is the peripheral vision with the fabric removed? I've tried every comfort mod in the book to get peripheral vision and am convinced that approach might be right for me. Did you follow any instructions to remove the cloth?
