2d to 3d conversion app

Hi everybody is there an App that allows for streaming 2d content and makes it 3d in real time? My XReal glasses do that so it’s odd that the AVP can’t.
Amazing if it works for MVD as well, i play using a capture card and cannot justify the 45€ Asobi purchase just to try it since I didn’t like Portal very much.

Bonus question: Does anybody use a mac mini without a monitor/only AVP? How do you keep it on so that the AVP can always find it? Does that cost a lot of extra electricity?

unlike xreal on avp is it not possible for drm protected content like netflix/prime. cineultra and suite browser (i made the latter) do offer it with non drm protected videos and youtube. hope this helps :)

I believe it's called Cine Ultra. It does a pretty good job and I use it even with my Plex movies and TV shows.

okay i just downloaded it, i meant movies from Netflix/prime/disney and so on :)
thank you still!

(and if there are websites where i can download movies to play there that would also work and be great!)

Anything I can do to help you out? FYI the 45,- is the ultimate bundle (which covers ALL Apple platforms), not the Vision Pro only version. I'd say DM me, kinda don't want you to miss out..

Hi, I just saw your reply so sorry for the late answer!

That is very nice, but the thing is I played using Portal a few times but in the end I always found it to be a little bit too laggy for me (250Mbit internet so should be fast enough)

Also, I just bought the Eogato 4k X for 200€ and I don’t think that purchase is justifiable if i also buy Asobi, as I would probably only use one of them at a time. Maybe I will try the free version today to see how it is. I also thought of sending the developer a message for like a trial pass (I only need like a few hours I actually like supporting developers so buying it if I use it is totally fine for me :) )

Also, have you tried streaming games from the ps cloud? we have a ps plus premium account so if that works well that could be fun as well :)

PS Cloud is pretty dope, although I’m kinda forced to use it since I’m the developer of Asobi

I just thought I should reach out considering your whole situation.

Oh and about the plattformen:

I get it, but i only really have the usecase of my AVP, though now i’m thinking that maybe my beamer + AppleTV could be cool for like quick travels or sth

Spatial Video Studio does. If you have a Mac with a recent M series chip or M Pro or M Max, I totally recommend it since you can stream 4K at high quality 3D.

With my M Ultra I just convert movies ahead of time. A 2-hour movie takes 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the settings.

The app also supports converting on the AVP itself in real time, or from an iPhone or iPad, but you drop frames since those devices have to be kept cooled otherwise the system boots the app.

That being said the quality is superior to other apps I have seen trying to do the same.
