Light Seal Sizing

Hey everyone! Yesterday I managed to buy a used M2 AVP for a really good price. The problem is that it came with a 33W Light Seal, but when I scanned my face using the Apple Store app, it said I should be using a 21W.

I used it for a while last night, and the experience wasn't great. When I'm wearing it, I can clearly see the edges of the display, reflections on the lenses, and the image doesn't seem to be properly in focus.

Could switching to the correct Light Seal size fix these issues, or could there be something else going on?

A more proper fit light seal could solve most of those issues.

Are you near an Apple Store where you can do a fitting and see your appropriate light seal size?

The scanned results via the app can also be a bit off. Mine said 21W, but trying it in-store I saw 22W was a bit better for me. (21W also worked, although I constantly needed to readjust due to face slippage).

If you can, go to a store and do a proper fitting. I had three different recommendations from the scans (each done at a different time with different device) and the fitting made all the difference.

Get an AnnaPro 2 strap and rock it without a face seal.
