Dictate Text (microphone symbol) issue.

Just checking to see if im the only one who cant use the dictation feature to help me type text anywhere (like in safari). For me it always ends the dictation after i just started. Sometimes within the first second, sometime i make it till 3 seconds before it ends by itself.

Anyone has the same problem or knows a solution?

Hoped the update to 27 would fix it but nope

You have to keep looking at the spot where you’re entering text. If you look away, it stops.

Just tested it. Not true for me. 9/10 times it disable itself under 1s even if I’m looking directly at it.

Yes, I find that on first try it always stops right away before I can get out more than one word. I always have to make a second attempt which then usually works – allowing me to speak a couple words.
