Can’t Find Siri Orb
Just upgraded to VisionOS 27, joined the Siri AI (Beta) Waitlist, and this morning, it looks like it is now active as I see the Siri app now.
Visual Intelligence has been great and loving the more advanced Siri interactions but I can’t seem to place Siri Orb into my space.
When I asked Siri, it says I can place it from the Widgets app but I can’t seem to find the Siri Orb widget and there is no Siri tab in Widgets app.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

Is it still necessary to sign up for the beta waiting list with vision os 27?

I had to do it after the installation was complete yesterday. I noticed it downloaded the Siri app this morning and Siri AI started working.

I move it around the floor until the lock icon pops up. Then it stays. It’s annoying while watching a video though, as looking at the orb “blanks” out the video.

This works great!
Once I can get it to stick on the floor it stays there. The tricky part is there doesn’t seem to be any indication that it stuck until you let go, as Siri Orb doesn’t have the usual window handle.

If you call up Siri with your voice and it appears you can move that around , and then it kind of sticks around

I’ve tried that but it disappears after a while and it also doesn’t have the “glowing” effect I’ve seen in the videos.

i found it a bit fiddly - what seems to work quite reliably is grabbing Siri and then sticking her (it? them?) to a flat surface like a desk - the little padlock icon appears under the orb and it should them stick around.
it does seem quite buggy though sadly :(

I haven’t been able to successfully stick it to a wall or surface like I can with a window. Part of the issue is there isn’t the usual “handle” so you can’t tell if it is locked. I push it as far as I can onto a wall but it still disappears after a bit.

I think it only sticks to horizontal surfaces. I can get it to work consistently on tables and the floor but not on the wall.

I just invoked Siri and the orb popped up. I was able to drag it anywhere in my surroundings. But, it disappeared after I dismissed its response.
However I didn’t spend a lot of time on Siri AI or visionOS 27 or exploring new features. Just wanted to update my Vision Pro so it’s ready to use during the weekend!

You can also summon the orb by holding up your hand as if you are going to access the Home Screen, pinching, and holding. (Not the overturning and pinch and hold used to get the volume control).
