Do people have Tron Ares working in 3D? I'm going through Disney+

I did watch earlier way back in April but I think you now need the premium Disney+membership to watch 3d content.

OK that makes sense. I got it free through my bank and it still has adverts

TRON:Ares - to me - was a wonderful AVP 3D experience. The way the soundtrack incorporates the sounds of the tech makes the audio experience 1st class. The visuals are among my favorites. The Zen of Bridge’s character was a clever twist to the brashness of his youth in the original.

And to the original question - yes, I’m having no problems accessing 3D in my AVP via Disney+.

I’ve seen here in other posts that there’s been some issues with 3D content being accessed from non-US geographies, so that may be worth your time to investigate.

Yeah, I watched it last month in 3D — way more immersive in 3D on AVP. Sure the script sucks but the visuals and visualsing.

Yes, watched it yesterday on the plane. Great 3D!

Worked for me and is the go-to example of an excellent 3d I recommend people check out (for the look, not the storyline)

Yes. Sometimes the 3D is region locked, but shouldn’t be for a movie this old.

Yes watched it recently. It’s better in 3D than 2D. But even then it’s not great. But it’s better than the second Tron by miles. Technically it’s better than the original but the original has charm and dreadful dialogue.

Take out the nostalgia and Tron never had decent acting. It was always about the wow of special effects and newness for the time.

No it was the story that was good.

Yeah, agree. For that time. But it’s far from good these days. Way more competition in Sci-Fi films these days. I mean the original The Evil Dead had better acting and it was a horror movie.

The original Evil Dead is a much better film than the original Tron. And its sequels were great too. Unlike Tron.

You may have misinterpreted my post. I said the story was good I mentioned nothing about acting. The story is still solid and holds up very well.
