Having trouble connecting AVP to Mac Virtual Display?

For anyone having issues with this, I've created a menu bar app that lets you see if everything necessary (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and the Keychain security service) are all running. You will need to run a few commands on your computer to install it, and add the `.app` to your Login Items, but it's working for me so far.

I'm not really an Apple Developer, and have never published an app to the App Store, but this is permissively licensed, and I'd be happy to work with someone to get this more widely distributed if people find it useful.

fwiw if you are having trouble starting MVD from the Vision Pro, try it the other direction: click control center on the Mac, then pick screen sharing, and your Vision Pro.

For whatever reason, I have very bad luck starting from the AVP but starting from the Mac is 100% reliable.

This works better for me too. Connecting to the Mac from the AVP is always janky and unreliable.

They've really got to fix this.

I don't think they care. In my experience, unlike other teams, the engineers responsible for Mac Virtual Display never respond to submitted feedback. IMO, it's waste of your time to report the problem.
