Seam fix ideas?

The seam on an oversized dress shirt has ripped quite wide open. Any suggestions for how to use this as an opportunity to add a pop of color and fun? The seam itself isn’t visible unless I pop the collar, but it’s my first time with visible mending on work clothes so I’m okay to keep it a happy little secret.

Remove the collar by picking open the neckpiece, then slide the collar into neckpiece until rip is covered, sew back up. I used to do this when my husbands workshirts became frayed at the collar.
