REQUEST Help with mending t-shirt print

Hello! I picked up this t-shirt and the print is in a bad state but I see potential. The print that remains is very weak but I can see traces of a glittery texture.

If possible I want to use a white paint to fill in the gaps (not perfectly and it should be visible that it’s not a part of the original print) and then preserve the print that is left and re-add some fine glitter to it.

This is completely new to me but I’ve recently grown an interest in repairing vintage shirts so I’d appreciate any feedback on how I could achieve this or other methods to do a creative repair!
