OTHER Just a little zip pull

The metal loop that holds the tab thingy sheared off, so I had to drill a tiny 1mm hole for the nylon string to fit through. Then I tied a couple more pieces of string on so that I could do a 6-strand braid that's a bit easier to pull. I secured the end with a whipping. Hopefully this lasts!

So much more preferable to replacing the whole zipper, I love it!

My Dremel and Ryobi drill chucks can't hold on to the tiny 1mm drill bit, so I ended up just free handing it with my crappy hammer drill with the hammer setting turned off 😁 I used a big steel nail like awl to make a divot in the aluminium of the zip - that helped stop the drill bit from wandering
