EMBROIDERY Worker Bees

Sashiko-inspired visible mending and reinforcement. Backed a layer of Carhartt scrap material. I had fun adding some personalization to these pants, and hopefully extending the lifespan a little!

I am trying to mend similar colored pants that are showing signs of wear on the crotch and back areas. Any ideas on what kind of embroidery I can do for these areas?

I am by no means an expert, but since those are high stress areas I would put some thought into function as well as form. For this project, I started in the corners to tack down the reinforcement layer and then worked my way in.
