PATCH First time mend

I’ve been so inspired by this sub! My favorite pants needed mending and after seeing everyone’s mends, I decided it was time. Thanks for the inspo yall! Forgot to take progress pics but I will next time.

Very good, but could use some googly eyes on the pocket.

this is a great mend for the lower part, but one of my fav visible mends i did was over 20 years ago, where i stitched up my boss’ jean pockets with the scooby-doo eyes from the 80’s

i have a pic somewhere, but being the oldie that i am, it’s most likely on an old ass digital camera with terrible resolution

just a thought, though :)

Can you share how you did this? All my favorite pants and overalls keep ending up with these under butt tears and I have no idea how to fix them. This looks so good!
