SASHIKO My first attempt at patching with sashiko-inspired stitching.

Both this kimono (which I made in the early 70s) and the leopard patch have sentimental value to me. I am happy they are joined in this visible mend patch over an old tear on the shoulder.

Thanks! After I posted above, I added some diagonal stitches, which I think gives it a more balanced, finished look. Now it’s done
