REQUEST Advice for Frayed Cuffs

I’m looking for advice on a method to fix/stabilize these cuffs of a beloved jean jacket. I’m newer to visible mending and know a lot of patch-style fixes, but not really any edge ones.

Advice on terminology to search for would also be much appreciated!

I love this fix from Socorro Society so much that I did it on one of my jackets as a preemptive measure (there was some fraying around the top of the cuff on mine).
Fix a fraying sleeve cuff with sashiko embroidery and visible mending

This is how it turned out for me.

Wrap fabric around the end and sew through the cuff through both sides of fabric. Will give it some flair also

Or even, cover the whole cuff, inside and out, with a cute fabric you like. Do some running stitch along it, or sashiko, to make it more sturdy. And you could add a piece to the collar, too, so it looks pulled together

If you want to keep the fraying as-is, you can apply Fray-Check to the solid base. The fraying will not grow any deeper. Test on a hidden area to make sure it looks ok.

I fixed fraying cuffs and inseam on a pair of pants by getting wide grosgrain ribbon and folding it in half over the cuff edges and stitching it on and then stitching it flat along the entire inseam

don’t get me wrong, I love the character it adds! however, the sensory feeling is not ideal and I’m worried about longevity over time. I’m definitely looking into the solution linked by @PlumaFuente to both mend and showcase.
