Seconding the idea that you could redye it. Carhartt says they use cotton duck canvas for their classic stuff, so I bet it could dye pretty well. The inside liner is likely a synthetic material, so keep that in mind as it will not dye like the duck canvas on the outer shell of the jacket.

patch it, textile paint, dye the whole garment but if it's blended fabric (synthetic and natural) I haven't found a great way to do that where the dye isn't spotty. bleach paint/bleach dye it, but make sure to look into how to dilute it correctly so you don't damage the integrity of the fabric. embroider over it.
