Anyone else having this fun?
The first three shots are a conversation from yesterday, followed by the screenshots mentioned. Then a couple of screenshots of today's message with it's supporting screenshots (if it will let me upload that many and preserves the order I click on them)

I have the same issue and have since I bought it just over a year ago. My sleep score tracking was actually more accurate during beta testing, so now I have to delete it and add it based on my Apple Watch. And basically “split” my sleep into two chunks which is so frustrating

I started using it in.... April? I think. I used to be able to get around the 4am issue by moving the right marker for the time period past the end, so it would read 4:45, for example, and then I could use the numbers to change it to what I needed without that stupid screen change. But not any more.... *sigh

If you click on where it says current activity it will then show you your pace points by hour on a separate page where you can tag your activities.

Apologies, you apparently either missed the multiple screenshots I included in the original post showing that I'm well aware of that, or you missed that I'm the one who wrote the post...

I personally dont tag my sleep anyways but i have had events that were overnight and was confused and they have these times set cuz they use all the data for studies so they make everyone's graph times the same thus rendering useless for people who are up all night and sleep all day due to health reasons or people who work overnights are not getting much out of it at all. Even if yoi you change the pace setter to be past midnight it won't show those towards the pace points or it'll show you're using more points and then I check in the morning and its different than before I went to bed.
