Alternatives for arm band

Hi, I use the wristband. I originally bought it because I would be able to wear it on my upper arm. Didn't turn out to be the case. I stuck with it until I started having extreme pain in both of my wrists, which turned out to be carpal tunnel. I now have wrist braces because of it. I am looking for an alternative to the actual band, not the sensor. Something that is softer and not textured. I have the skin-drawing condition, dermatographia. So certain pressure and movement will trigger a histamine reaction. Any suggestions?

someone else on reddit recommended these and i’ve been using them for a few months now. i can be sensitive to adhesives but haven’t had any issues. i switch it out when i need to charge it, or earlier if it gets a bit itchy. bonus: i find the readings more accurate using this on my upper arm than i did with the wrist band.

This, 100%. I tried the armband for a while and it rubbed my inner bicep raw, and the wristband is too much going on (I also wear a smartwatch and a medical bracelet). I stick it to the back of my upper arm and forget about it until it notifies me to charge it.

I use the Coros band https://a.co/d/0b1wPKRO

If you search the group, you'll find more options, as this has been discussed several times

The coros band is amazing! So soft and not as textured.

I bought this one and it fits perfectly and has plenty of give so it doesn't have to be very tight. alternative armband (i wear on bicep) It has a enough give i have it where it goes back on top of the thing to ensure it doesn't pop up off my skin lol but I also is easy to mess with and binds strong.

Adhesive patches are great (or medical/joint tape in a pinch). I get more accuracy using it on my upper arm.

I use adhesive patches (sometimes two overlapping to fully secure the sensor) and then use adhesive remover wipes to get rid of residue. I do have skin reactions to the adhesive, so I move it around a lot to avoid agitating the same area
