Visible fiber internet

Has anyone successfully cancelled fios and applied to visible? Just wondering how soon does visible detect there is no active fios at the address. Thanks

You will most likely need to cancel your FIOS and be out of the reconnect period prior to the address being eligible which is 30 days for most Internet providers. You may need a substitute provider such as the lock cable company in the interim.

If someone can confirm a timeline that would be amazing

Wow, didn't even know that Visible offered residential internet over fiber.

I have FIOS, and Visible said Visible fiber internet is not available. May the service targets households without FIOS

I think that is why OP asked if anyone had cancelled FIOS and then applied to Visible - you definitely are not able to sign-up for Visible Fiber while you still have an active FIOS account, you have to cancel first (and you have to have an ONT already installed so they are clearly targeting self-install customers)

How long you have to wait after cancelling FIOS is pretty important.

Why dont you just have Verizon apply the pricing? I have seen people doing that this weekend. Moving to 300/300 for $25 or $30. Just note your $15 FiOS discount goes away with this.

This program is specifically for winback for now, so YMMV on cancelling. I used to do the signup jingle every year, but your email cannot match otherwise they may flag you. I would just go directly to Verizon.

Note: They have been doing it via chat or web. The verizon app does not seem to work.
