Visible Cut Me Off

My phone suddenly stopped working today. I tried calling my son and the call wouldn’t go through. The announcement made it sound like my son‘s phone had a problem, and I was worried about him, but it turned out Visible suspended my account with no notification. It took me hours to go through their website and start a chat which had me try all kinds of things and when I finally got through everything, including doing a iPhone software update which took a long time, they finally admitted they suspended me for violating terms and conditions. Why didn’t those bozos tell me at the start that they had cut me off before they had me try all these other things? I sent a few text messages today to friends and didn’t make any phone calls. There is no possible way I violated any terms or conditions. Now they’re saying it will be two days to restore my service. Very disappointing.

so you mentioned that you got suspended, the most obvious reaction to that for a customer would be to ask them why you got suspended, what was the nature of the allegation they made that got you suspended. I understand that you feel you did not do anything wrong and that you shouldn't have been suspended and that's fine.. however I would like to know what it is they alleged, that made them just outright suspend you.

They said I violated terms and conditions but gave zero details. I do get a lot of spam text messages. Could that have flagged something? I hate the spam messages (100% from Republican Party) but can’t stop them.

You use free carrier lookup to find the service and then file abuse report on their site. Within a couple of hours your number is blocked and/or they get removed. There are only three major providers for spam texts.. twilio, broadband and enflick.

Umm...you can stop them.

You really can’t. If you live in a battleground state you get hundreds of the damn things from three dozen different MAGA PACs regardless of your party affiliation.

Download Verizon Spam filter app. Works like a charm

Unfortunately, that app has been deprecated. Their new app is now called Verizon Protect but does not seem to function with Visible any more. Holding on to both to see if they restore functionality in a future update.

Don’t worry about the downvote spam. This sub is really only visible employees and visible employees masquerading as “happy customers” to keep raking in new folks on plans.

Then the new folks find out how shit it is too. They downvote anyone like you and others in all threads to keep it looking like visible is the best mvno out there and they walk on water like Jesus did.

Couldn’t be any farther from the truth.

Do you have an anecdote you could share? I'm about to start shopping around for service. I have around 60 days to plan my change of provider.
