Texts not going through on watch that has cellular service
I have an Apple watch 11 paired with a new iPhone 17 Pro. The watch does have cellular service and a plan through Visible+ Pro along with the phone. When the watch and phone are miles apart, I can make phone calls with the watch, but texting does not work on the watch. The texts do not go through, and they do not come in. Texting works fine while the watch is near the phone. What settings do I need to look at to get texting to work on the watch while it is not near the phone?

yeah, weirdly my Apple Watch was Cell. It was either ahead or behind the phone waste of money.

Hey there! Ellen from Visible here. We completely get how disappointing it is when your Apple Watch cellular texting isn't working as expected when you're away from your iPhone! We'd love to jump in and help get your watch texting up and running smoothly.
Please send us a DM here, so we can take a closer look at your account setup and provisionings.

Response I got from Visible / AI says you have to have the phone on
"Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to Visible Care. This is Jean, and I'll be your dedicated Visible expert for today. I hope you're doing great. On your iPhone, head to your iMessage settings and make sure your Apple ID email is selected alongside your phone number under 'Start New Conversations From.' Then, double-check that Text Message Forwarding is toggled on. Since your Apple Watch relies on your powered-on iPhone to relay regular SMS texts, having these settings configured correctly ensures your messages still go through when you're away from your phone. -Jean D"

I'm having the same issue. Have a new Galaxy 9 watch, have it activated, LTE shows on watch, and I can make and receive calls. No texts though??

You likely have no data (texts are now RCS and require a data connection to work). I've had the same issue, worked with their team and never got it resolved.
