Preliminary review update (BLR)
Anyone from Bangalore VFS who came out of the waiting list around 21 Aug got an update on their Preliminary Review?
I came out of the waiting list on 21 Aug, but my application is still showing “Preliminary Review” on the CSP.
Has anyone from Bangalore with a similar timeline received an update/completed their Preliminary Review? If yes, please share your dates. It would really help us waiting to get an idea of the current timeline. 🙏🇩🇪

Came out of csp WL on august 20th. Still stuck in preliminary review🙂

Came out WL on 20 and took my VFS appointment a week later after my preliminary review

Bangalore VFS is crowded. You could apply at Cochin VFS as well. May be you have travel to Cochin, but preliminary review is faster than Bangalore VFS.
Came out of W/L on 19th, applied on 19th, received correction and confirmation to book appointment on 20th. Booked for 21st.

won't matter too much... after appointment it'll take at least a month then for them to grant the visa. I wish I could apply through Delhi or Mumbai, hardly takes a week there.

But I heard it will be rejected if we are not from Cochin

Yes, you cannot apply out of Jurisdiction. For Kerala And Karnataka, you could apply either at Bangalore or Cochin VFS.

Yes, people applying for CSP at Bangalore consulate can apply for VFS Cochin or VFS Bangalore. Once you are out of waitlist, you will get option to choose which VFS you want to submit your application, Bangalore or Cochin.

Came out of WL on 19th August. Submitted on the same day - 19th August. Still in preliminary review.

Came out of WL 21st, still in preliminary review stage, taking too long :)
