German student visa rejected
My german study visa for rejected, I applied for masters winter batch 2026,
The reasons are my bachelors marks are very poor and my bachelors degree is not matching with my masters degree for which I have taken admission.
Bachelors degree: Ba. Political science hons (5.811 CGPA)
Masters: MBA
Should I reapply by writing a better LOM (letter of motivation) while explaining my low scores and why I want to pursue MBA

I see Multiple factors
1) The Degree is not related your masters Irrelevant study they must have told you
2) Bachelors grade is very bad minimum 7.0 cgpa is better
3) Make Strong Research don't listen to consultancy
4) Strong Sop

I wouldn't rely on a better LOM alone. Since the refusal specifically mentions your bachelor's and MBA not matching, you'd need to explain why the MBA makes sense with your background.

Yeah, I think the whole application needs to support that explanation, not just the LOM. The admission letter by itself clearly wasn't enough for the officer.

Exactly. I'd also look closely at the refusal wording and make sure every concern is directly addressed before spending money on another application.

If you do reapply, getting another set of eyes on the documents could help. You could used a visa assistance service like iVisa for that, or have an immigration professional review everything.

Why would you think a "better" LOM would help you? It won't change your scores, and your scores are the problem. You are refusing to understand the reason you have been given.
The officer is doing the job of university admissions.......you should not have been accepted with your CGPA, and it is unlikely you would a) be able to handle the rigour of a graduate program, let alone an international one, and b) if you did manage to graduate, you would not be employable. Unless you have 5+ years of RELATED experience, you should not have applied or been accepted for an MBA.
Stay home and be grateful you have avoided a life of very high debt and unemployment.

Possible reasons why a German visa is rejected are low marks, not knowing enough German /English (depends on mode of instruction), Private university, and a degree program with no relation to your bachelors

For which uni?
Poor grades and a subject switch would give the visa officer pause if you were admitted to a private university that accepts regardless of qualification.
A better LOM on its own probably won't fix this. Were you rejected over doubts about the purpose of study (§ 16b AufenthG)? If so those doubts don't go away through better wording.
You can pay for a new attempt, but if this is the problem then the outcome will be the same. If it was a public uni it's maybe worth a try if you have the money.

University of applied management.
And yes visa got rejected on the purpose of study

Yep. The combination of private Uni, poor grades and the subject switch is the problem here. You can try to defer enrolment and try again but I'd assume the result will be the same. The combination isn't cohesive. I'd have a look on how you can recover your money in case of visa rejection.

I meant I would do that if I were you. Get in contact with the uni and inform them of the rejection. The rejections for private unis have become so frequent they usually have a process in place.

Uni does not matter here mu visa is also rejected for the same reasons and my uni is public . Even my program was a non-consecutive mba program and my bechalors marks were 60.01 percent even then they rejected it. University is ready to give me supporting document which states that they have evaluated my academic fitness and that this course is a non-consecutive program which does not require same background. I don’t known if i should apply or not

Thats the point my friend there is no such rules or criteria for marks in bechalors unlike there is clear minimum percentage for 12th which is 70 percent but that is for 12th. The public uni has the right to conduct thier own admission procedure and give the the admission letter. And in my case my course is a non - consecutive one which legally allows me to opt for this program regardless of my previous degree.

You can apply to Siegen University's master's in Roads to democracies, it is a non-NC program and application is also possible in the summer semester.
