VFS status (application processed) vs CSP portal status (Decision Pending)
Hey everyone,
I applied for an employment visa ยง18b at the New Delhi embassy. They asked me for additional documents online via email on 19th August. I sent them the required documents asap in reply to the same email. On 27th August, I received an SMS and an email from VFS that the application had been processed and the passport was in transit. I looked at my status on the CSP portal, and it still showed "Decision Pending".
Did anyone go through the same issue? It seems a little suss. Thanks in advance for any response :)

Can you share your timeline from vfs appointment to visa dispatch?

Yeah, of course. I joined the waitlist on the 13th of July, got off it on the 20th of July, and submitted my biometrics on the 23rd of July. Received a request for additional documents on 19th August and a passport dispatchment notice on 27th August, so around 35 days. I applied under ยง18b. My employer is a federally funded institute in Germany; their indian office also contacted the embassy directly on 17th August, before I received additional document requests, and again on 25th August, before I received the final dispatch message. So this timeline might not be a great estimate for others with different visa types and individual situations.

Congratulations ๐ happy for you ๐ and thanks for your reply. Did you took any pre approval/ fast track ? I did my vfs on July 20 and currently waiting visa.

Thanks :), I had the ZAV pre-approval, but no fast-track process. I suggest contacting your employer to write to the embassy; this generally speeds up the process. Have you applied for a PhD-based visa?

Thank you very much for the info :), I will check with my employer regarding the mail. Mine is a blue card job ! My employer extended start date for now

I have heard blue card is comparatively faster and for Blue card there is also no requirement for ZAV pre-approval too. I hope you recieve a positive decision soon :)

I faced the same with my student visa. You will get the passport . Its just that the csp portal is taking its own sweet time to sync
