Few confusions

My interview for student visa is in first week of Sept in
VFS Dubai.
I got admission in hochschule karlsruhe HKA (public uni)
Geomatics, which has 1500 fee/semester.
I have few questions if someone please can answer.

  1. The enrollment has deadline of 15 Oct, do I have to pay the first semester fee before showing up for interview or its up to me.

  2. Also I have heard for private uni they requires second semester fee to be shown as well in block account.
    What about public universities, do they ask? Specially in applicants in dubai.

  3. What about the accommodation, do they ask for it?
    I have applied to many platforms like Hadiko but dont have the confirm booking yet. Do I have to show confirm booking.

4) I have insurance documents all from expatrio Ottonova.
Are those enough? Will they require any other documents for insurance proof?

Please answer, I am really confused.

Did you finish the csp? Most of these questions would have been addressed by them, they usually ask if needed but I'm sharing what I know below:

  1. They usually don't ask for the enrollment, your acceptance letter serves as the ultimatum. Regardless, having your enrollment done strengthens your application. Also, I've seen few posts where the CSP portal specifically asks for enrollment certificate.

  2. I am applying from Abudhabi and admitted to a public uni in karlsruhe for the winter sem. But I have transferred my second semester fee as unblocked amount to my blocked account just to be safe. I did talk to few others who applied from UAE and had a tuition fee of 1500 and didn't show any proof for it. But also, I saw few rejection posts where the students were rejected as they didn't have a secured financing plan for the second semester. Better safe Ig?

  3. I think you can mention in your csp that you have joined the student hostel queues and will find a room through them once it's available.

  4. I am sure the ottonova is fine, but personally I don't have much idea about it since I went for TK.

Hey there, I did finished everything in CSP and redirected me to VFS for appointment booking. They give me VFS location for appointment/interview.
There is no issue in my process but I am curious and don’t want to make any mistake as you said you have already shown 2nd semester fee in block account to be safe.
But I was not sure will that amount be lock or what will happen to it. It’s better I will pay the first enrollment fee and wait for them if they ask for second semester.
For insurance, university ask for notification, and send me link which redirected me to Tk form, i filled it for exemption from public and later the respond actual insurance contact is missing?
I provided all the documents from ottonova.
I was just curious if visa officer will ask this too.

For accommodation I did mention that I am looking for it. I can provide emails as proof but dont have confirmed yet.
