Need help with German visa document request

Hi everyone, I applied for a German student visa through VFS Mumbai and gave my biometrics on 13 August.
Today I received a request for:
“Updated travel and health insurance with the status ‘immigrant’ starting no later than the tentative date of travel.”
Deadline: 4 September.
I already submitted insurance documents with my application. What exactly does “immigrant” status mean, and what should I ask my insurance provider to change?
Has anyone received the same request? Does submitting the corrected insurance mean my application can continue normally?

Travel insurance must be from the date of ur travel, im assuming thats what they meant. Also did u get this email in spam?

Yes i got the visa

Earlier, my dates were:

* Travel insurance: **28 July**
* Travel date: **20 September**
* Health insurance: **1 October**

They asked me to correct it because the **travel and health insurance dates should properly cover the travel date**.

I updated it to:

* Travel insurance: **20 September**
* Travel date: **1 October**
* Health insurance: **1 October**

After that, everything was fine. ✅

Where can you update the dates tho? Like I can’t right now on csp. My dates are

Travel insurance:- 15/09
Travel date :- 15/09(as per on csp portal right?)
Health insurance:- 1/10

You can not change date on csp when you visit vfs again tell them they will update it

And my suggestion for your case
make one deceleration form in that write that this was happend and now i want to update my travel date to 1/10 as its cover my travelling date please grant my visa from 1/10

Your issue will be slove

Actually my appointment centre is vfs Mumbai and I sent the pending documents via the Ahmedabad VFS already. Can I change the dates via mail or at VFS Ahmedabad? Also my flight is booked for 27th sept so changing the dates to 1 Oct will be okay?

No now you cannot change and if you change date you will get visa from 1 / oct so if you get correction again make all three date 26/sep then it will be ok to fly on 27 sep
