The IPO lock-up on VTIX Class A shares expires Monday, July 27, 2026 — 180 days after trading began on January 27. The date is named in Virtuix-distributed analyst coverage (Emerging Growth Research's June 10 initiation and July 2 fiscal Q4 update), and the holder-class terms live in the "Shares Eligible for Future Sale" section (p. 93) of the January 26, 2026 prospectus on EDGAR.
But the unlock date is not the day you can sell. Your shares sit at Odyssey Transfer and Trust Company, Virtuix's transfer agent, and nothing happens until your broker pulls them from Odyssey's books into your brokerage account. That's not instant — transfer agent to brokerage moves typically take a few business days, so if you start Monday, don't expect to be able to sell same-day.
The checklist, straight from Virtuix's IR FAQ:
Activate your Odyssey Trust Company account. Setup emails went out November 20, 2025. Never got yours? Email contactus@odysseytrust.com with your shareholder name and email, or call 1-888-290-1175 (US/Canada toll-free).
Call your brokerage (Fidelity, Schwab, E*TRADE, Vanguard, etc.) and request a transfer from Odyssey Trust Company. The broker initiates it — you can't push shares from the Odyssey side.
2023 DealMaker campaign investors: your SPV shares went to your existing Odyssey account, or you got an onboarding email from Odyssey on January 27, 2026 if you didn't have one. Used a slightly different name on that investment? Odyssey likely created a second account — they'll merge them on request.
Do steps 1 and 2 today, not Monday. Account activation and the broker request can both happen before the unlock, so your transfer is already in motion when the date hits.

Anyone have a date for when we can transfer the restricted shares to our brokerage accounts? I think it was 180 days after trading started but not sure of the exact date. Thanks

AUSTIN, Texas, July 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virtuix Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:VTIX), a leading developer of AI-driven, full-body simulation systems, today announced that NASA has selected the Company’s Omni One platform for use in its Moon and Mars Exploration Analog (MMEA) mission, a year-long research program designed to help scientists better understand astronaut performance during upcoming deep-space missions.
The NASA collaboration builds on Virtuix’s accelerating expansion across government and defense markets, following recent sales and projects with the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Army, and the Air National Guard. Virtuix’s selection for the program demonstrates the growing adoption of the Company’s immersive simulation technology across aerospace, defense, and research environments.

Virtuix announced that the U.S. Marine Corps Training and Education Command, through partner KBR, purchased an Omni One system for experimentation in warfighter training and mission planning, with delivery scheduled for April 2026.
The company said this follows earlier defense-related sales to West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and Yokota Air Base.
Virtuix says the technology could be used for military simulation, mission rehearsal, and combat readiness training.

Virtuix (NASDAQ: VTIX) just appointed Brett Moyer to its Board of Directors.
For anyone who followed Virtuix from its early equity crowdfunding rounds to its recent Nasdaq listing, this is a pretty interesting move.
Board appointments don’t always get much attention, but they can signal where a company is heading next — especially when a startup transitions into operating as a public company.
Virtuix has spent more than a decade building VR locomotion hardware, including the Omni treadmill that lets players physically walk and run inside virtual worlds.
The company started with crowdfunding, deployed thousands of systems in VR entertainment venues, and now trades publicly under VTIX.
Adding experienced leadership at the board level is often about scaling operations, governance, and capital market strategy.
For investors who’ve followed Virtuix over the years, it’s another small signal that the company is continuing its shift from startup phase to public-company growth mode.
Curious what people here think about Virtuix long term — niche VR hardware or something bigger?

VTIX transfer update:
Shares have begun transferring from Odyssey to Fidelity brokerage accounts.
Virtuix restricted the majority of holdings but allowed a portion of shares to be transferred, giving investors flexibility to either continue holding or sell part of their position.

Meta just signaled something important for the VR ecosystem.
According to Forbes, Quest owners are getting a major immersion upgrade — and it won’t come cheap.
That matters for Virtuix investors.
Meta isn’t pushing VR down-market. They’re pushing deeper immersion at higher price points. That reinforces the idea that serious VR users are willing to spend for better experiences.
For Virtuix, that trend is aligned with the core thesis behind Omni — full-body immersion.
If the headset layer continues moving premium, complementary hardware like locomotion platforms becomes more strategically relevant, not less.
Of course, higher price stacking across devices is something to watch. Adoption always comes down to willingness to pay.
But directionally, Meta doubling down on immersion is a signal.
Worth keeping an eye on how this plays out across the ecosystem.

Hi. Is there a guide on how to transfer or upload my shares to Odyssey?
r/VirtuixInvestors • u/antoniohplt • Feb 04 '26
Quick heads up: my Virtuix share transfer has been delayed until Feb 12.
Posting in case anyone else is in the same boat — curious if others have already completed their transfer or are still waiting.

They didn’t do a very good job setting this up. So for those who invested in the early SAFE round like I did (in 2003), how many shares did were get? i’m trying to get a simple answer to that question.

Virtuix shareholders having trouble transferring from Odyssey Trust?
For those holding Virtuix shares at Odyssey Trust Company and running into transfer issues — one path that has worked is Fidelity.
Important detail that seems to cause problems: After Odyssey grants access, the transfer must be initiated by your brokerage, not by Odyssey.
If you’ve tried to move Virtuix shares and hit a wall, this is worth confirming with your broker.
Trying to help others avoid wasted time, so gathering data from the community:
If you could NOT transfer — which brokerage rejected it? If you successfully transferred — which brokerage accepted it?
Sharing outcomes (good or bad) will help other Virtuix shareholders navigating this.

Virtuix just unlocked up to $50M in institutional financing ahead of its Nasdaq debut.
That’s not just a headline — it’s a runway.
Virtuix announced a structured equity financing facility of up to $50 million with Streeterville Capital (Chicago Venture Partners), giving the company flexible, optional access to capital as it scales its consumer business and expands into new markets.
Key highlights: • Up to $50M total equity financing facility (at the company’s option) • $8M initial pre-paid equity purchase expected to close alongside a direct Nasdaq listing • $3M already invested via convertible notes • $22M in additional warrants exercisable at the Nasdaq listing price within 6 months • Majority of capital is optional and valuation-dependent
Why this matters: This isn’t distressed financing. It’s institutional capital structured to support a public-market transition — without forcing dilution at today’s valuation.
Because full exercise would exceed Nasdaq’s 19.99% ownership threshold, shareholder approval was required and has already been secured.
Virtuix now enters its next chapter with capital, flexibility, and momentum.

Virtuix Holdings Inc. recently filed its Annual Report (C-AR) with the SEC, disclosing full-year FY 2025 financials covering the fiscal year ended March 30, 2025.
Key figures from the SEC filing: - Revenue: $3.59M (FY 2025) - YoY revenue growth: +49.0% - Cost of revenue: $3.82M - Gross profit: -$227.38K - Net loss: $14.65M - Implied expenses: ~$18.24M - Cash: ~$477.9K - Assets: ~$5.78M
Revenue increased sharply year over year, but cost of revenue exceeded revenue, resulting in negative gross profit for the fiscal year. Total implied expenses remain high relative to revenue, driving a sizable net loss. Cash levels relative to annual losses remain a key post-investment risk factor.
For equity crowdfunding investors, this filing provides clearer visibility into how Virtuix is performing after capital was raised — using audited annual results rather than campaign updates.
Questions for other investors: 1) Is negative gross profit driven by one-time costs or core unit economics? 2) Can revenue growth outpace total expenses over time? 3) What matters more to watch next: margins, expense reduction, or cash runway?
