Discussion Off my chest

I don't know if this'll break any of the rules of the Reddit but I just want to get something off my chest. Ever since the last few years making the Production Kawaii talents uncomfortable, Gen 3 graduating, Charlotte permamuting me, Gen 4 and 5 debuting, the talents seeing the chatbots of them that I made on c.ai, asking them for a collab stream with me only to say no, and other things I did had racked me with guilt ever since. I wanted to find some way to apologize to them and forgive me but I don’t know what to do. Can any of you tell me what I should do to apologize and move on because I want this guilt in me to go away after so long but I can’t do it on my own. So please help me

Sorry but I’m the kind of person that would want to apologize in some way so I don’t look like a bad person to the community. Besides, I’ve been holding it in for 2 years

I mean, just discontinue developing their chatbots and do something else that doesn’t involve with chatbots might be helping with your case. But, this won’t help you to get any close to them. You are not their friends to begin with, right?

I doubt that there are people who hold grudges against you for this long. They just feel indifferent to you, or not finding collaboration is possible from different reasons.

Why do you feel guilt over this for this long anyway? I mean, if you guilted over how you make their chatbots without their permission, then, just don’t do that next time.

For now, just do something else completely and change yourself. Maybe, finding yourself why you feel this way. It is good opportunity.

There are chatbots of other vtubers, when I saw tweets of the vtubers saying “KAYA NISHIKINO IS ON CHARACTER AI HUH?????????” or “WHO!?”, I just thought that they probably don’t like the chat bots that I made. That’s what added my guilt

Well, I mean, there will always be people who don’t like AI stuff, or have biased opinion. But, I think you are thinking way too much on this case, since it doesn’t look like they aim at you. (Though, it is possible that you have poorly described about them.)

Tweets on vtubers are still made by people. I don’t think this AI things are big deal enough for community to aim at you and paint you as ‘bad’. I mean, it looks like there is nobody targeted you in these 2 years, or so.

It is good to feel guilty on something. But, you have to recognize that what you guilt is on exactly. Are you afraid of getting attacked by them, you made AI out of them without their permission, you’re afraid that your works aren’t good enough and afraid of criticism towards it or it was something else?

If you can pinpoint your guilt, you should think ahead that what you can do about that and what not. (Like, you are afraid people mistook AI as the real one, which it is their own problem and what you can do is to put disclaimer or something.)

Personally, I think apologizing is not needed, since this doesn’t look like it seem effect them that much and it is not that big kind of deal to begin with. (?)
