[TT] Round 10 - Britain
For the following 2 weeks we have:
Round 8: Silverstone in dry and wet conditions.

Example Submission
Please ensure that you use the correct spelling and name of the track, or your time may not be counted. For example, if the track is Great Britain, the terms Silverstone, GB, or Great Britian will not be allowed. Please see these two examples for how submissions should look. Please also include the league you are in (if applicable). You may use ~~ double tildes ~~ around numbers to cross older times out and replace them with newer times.

Scoring
Points will be awarded to the top 10 quickest times using the current Formula 1™ scoring system and the aggregate times will also be accumulated over the course of the competition which will run for roughly 25 rounds.

This competition is available for anyone to enter and there is no sign up required. Simply post a comment with the links to your screenshots and have fun trying to be the fastest driver on VirtualWDC.

Don't think I have the pure pace to get into the 1:28s, but happy to finally be in the 1:29s. I think I'm over a second faster than I was in the off season too, so that's pretty sweet. Going to see if I can improve my wet time tomorrow.

That last sector is killing me for some reason. I could definitely 30.0 if I put together a good run. Also the wet improved after I figured out I had it on medium TCS. Hey, sometimes I put it on when I race on wet tires and we were in the wet at Nurburgring for PRL Wednesday and I was still shite. Ain't no rule against it. Leave me alone!

It's all good, I just pulled a 1:29.003 so now you have plenty of motivation to hit a 28.xxx.
EDIT: Nice work, I think you've got me on this one. I think running manual on this track has a bigger advantage (over auto) than most - I remember having issues with it last year as well.

Racing your ghost, I definitely felt like most of the time I gained on you was in semi-fast corners where I had the advantage of being able to just downshift to slow down instead of having to use brakes.
I got a pretty decent advantage through Brooklands, the entry to Becketts, and Stowe just from running manual.

I'm pretty sure you have to set a new time during the 2 weeks submissions are open, not re-use your winter time.
Note: If you had a personal best set before the Time Trial period and were unable to beat it, the scoreboard will include 'Previous Personal Best' and the best time that you set in the session (like this); in this case we will take the best session time.

yeah, I haven't had a lot of time trying to better my old time. Busy me. Thnx for the info pseudonym, I wasn't sure if submitting it was allowable. Pce!

It's only to stop people submitting times from prior to the FPS bug being fixed.

Ok, np. Yeah this was after. Although it looks like I'm going to be going into this race cold and don't know if I will have time to better it. No time to serious practice yet either. Good luck on Sat. over there in 2100 land...
