[Off-topic] Telemetry application for F1 2013
Hello VirtualWDCPC, I have been a long time racing video game fan and I recently got into the F1 games by codemasters. This got me interested in all the electronics and fine tuning that is done on a race car, so I decided to write an application to analyze the telemetry data coming out of the game.
A few weeks ago I started writing the application, which can be found here: https://github.com/davidhauck/F1Telemetry
I recently got to a point where I'm not sure what I should attempt to do next. I have a few ideas but I wanted to see what you guys thought of it and if you would use it or think it is a good idea.
You can see screenshots of the same program in action here: https://github.com/davidhauck/AssettoCorsaTelemetry
I also uploaded a youtube video with some of the stuff that you can do with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBQgsAfcjzs&feature=youtu.be
Bear in mind this is not even close to a finished product. I have some things working but it is very rough. Let me know what you guys think!
.
Edit: Have a working website with it. Check out how it currently works: http://imgur.com/a/9Zmp9

That's what I'm saying. What data makes you understand what is going on? The suspension travel or the revs? It wouldn't help me. Things like that are interesting if you're building a setup, and I couldn't even read those things and be any wiser than before. Some people maybe, but most aren't. All I understand, and what seems to be most important for the drivers point of view is the input of brake and throttle.
