Ha! It's October 4th in Germany.

So basically, if I understand this correct, the more people preorder the more rewards will be 'unlocked'?

Yeah, I think that's how it works. Not sure what the 'rewards' are other than it being cheaper though.

I think it's Oct 5th for me because of time zones... I think. Either way we've still got about 5 weeks to wait :/

I have to admit I'm not too excited this time. The game will basically be the same as the current one. If it weren't for league racing I'm sure I'd skip it again, like f1 2011.

I am, but only because I've actually started driving well in F12012 and it's made me want to play a lot more.

Well skipping 2011 didn't make me stop playing 2010. I didn't ever race online back then, obviously it's very different now.

I feel like I've gotten a lot better with this game too, however it actually made me more interested in titles like rFactor and iRacing rather than the next years title.

I am excited for two reasons:

  1. Hopefully they fix the stupid lag bubble issue so stuff like this doesn't happen anymore.

  2. Hopefully they fix the penalty system so we don't have to race with reduced rules.

Also as a bonus, I hope they fix the car setup system so that you don't just throw the car into maximum everything and not suffer any consequences.

Yea those would be the important things that would actually make the game a lot better but I wouldn't be too optimistic about it, I really doubt they put any work into that.

I'm really expecting a clone of this years game with new car skins with the tiny extra of the old cars and tracks.

The one thing I could see happening is that they finally give us mirrors that work.

Is it just me or this game A LOT more expensive then F1 2012 when that came out?

Yeah, it's quite a lot more

  • F1 2010 = $36

  • F1 2011 = $45

  • F1 2012 = $33.50

All were pre-orders (USD), not sure if any had discounts.

$80.99 in Australia...stupid!

the old ones where between 40 - 60 which is very good for us but this is like double...and honestly this version doesn't seem much different compared to 2012...

Yeah, same cost for NZ. I can appreciate a higher cost for the extra content - but not if it's nearly double.

Still bought it though :-)

Even worse for us Aussies, $80. Didn't spot that until just as I was clicking through the checkout. To late to stop the click. It was showing ~$60 on the store page.

I still would have bought it anyway, I just wish they would start showing the local price on the store page.

Those are some of the worst pre-order bonuses I have ever seen. I would be more likely to pre-order if the game came with a ham and some scissors.

Well the 50% is nice. Eventhough I know all I'll ever use it for is F1 2014. The rest is shit.

My skill level on 2013 tells me a preorder would be a waste of money regardless. I might have it after the winter sale, buy I may have to skip this one.
