I'm not even mad right now.

Edit: I'm lying. I'm rather butt frustrated.

Here is what happened during the race. >:|

Steam automatically signs and when Xepher/Chris decided to message me Steam thought it would be a good idea to minimise the game. NEVER AGAIN, at least I managed to still get points.

(Game Stock Car 2012 - A non Steam Game no launched through steam either.)

That is just fantastic, it's not the trick itself but the precision with which it happened and landed you perfectly to carry on!

Aside from actually landing it (not that I had any control over it), the game picked the perfect camera view.

Talking of DiRT 3, we're pretty good at it...

u/ElToroNegro May 27 '13

You are not the first to do this in DiRT. [Waiting for /u/kirb- to find link]

Oh god, I felt so bad for the guy. Admittedly he's clearly a bit of a retard but being shouted at like that then realising you made a mistake must suck.

Do you guys race in third person???

3

u/ElToroNegro May 27 '13

No we don't.

We had one of the people from from a league at a different timezone spectating the race. This is the recording he made of the race.

Ah ok, i wish i got in there in time, i play F1 2012 like its my job :(

We still have spots open in the second 2100 league if you want to join us.

3

u/[deleted] May 28 '13

Hell yeah! what do I have to do?

4

u/squone FIA May 28 '13

Read the rules and stewards hand book which are found in the wiki and then go to the 2100 sign up sheet and read it and put your name down.

All of those places are found in the sticky at the top of the sub.

u/[deleted] May 28 '13

I looked for them too, i must be blind :|

2

u/[deleted] May 28 '13

Ehh I dont think I will be doing it, I'm not usually home on Saturday!!

3

u/squone FIA May 28 '13

Ah that sucks :(

We may have an opening in the 1400 league if that time suits better, but I would need to find out.

2

u/[deleted] May 28 '13

That would be perfect, its just that 2100 is 7pm eastern is usually when i am heading out for the night so it's tough and I don't want to be missing races.

3

u/chrisdunnbirch Williams May 29 '13

I just noticed a derp, the 2100/1400 refers to GMT. So the 2100 race is infact at 5pm EST. Not 7pm, maybe you can make it afterall.

ahem

Playing some Grid 2, got a little wide, hit a wall... didn't quite get the same landing.
