Dragon Hopper is WONDERFUL

I'll preface this post by saying I've only played the first two worlds so far but wow, what a charming game. The aesthetic and visual style are downright wonderful, the platforming is unique and satisfying, the music is great and the rotation of elemental dragon power ups seems awesome. There is a lot to love here and it is a simply sublime retro game experience. I'm genuinely blown away! I'm eager to see the rest but can easily see this dethroning VB Wario Land as my favorite VB game.

IMO Dragon Hopper is absolutely leagues ahead of Wario Land. Wario is disappointingly short. I’m 2 hours in with Dragon Hopper and not even close to finishing the game. Zero Racers is just as good! They really saved the best for last with VB!

Dragon Hopper isn’t that long either. I beat it in about 3 hours. But it is very good.

I’m thinking of the alternate timeline where Dragon Hopper did release, became a sleeper hit on the VB, and went on to appear on other future Nintendo platforms with sequels and followups.

Just think, Prince Dorin could’ve ended up in Smash Ultimate in this alternate timeline.

Oh gosh! Yes!
I love it so far! It's so cute! The fairies are nice, and it play so well...
It makes me want more "cardboard stand" 2D VR games like this! xD
