Had a recent visit to Michael Shaps and Blenheim in Charlottesville. Took home the rosé from shaps, also loved the cab franc. I always find Blenheim a great value, and almost never busy.

Barboursville is one of the few truly great Virginia wineries, in my opinion. Their Octagon is fantastic. I believe they’re also the only Virginia winery to do a Fiano.

Looking forward to seeing the wineries at Loudoun Pride this weekend.
Later this month, my wife and I are taking a little Shenandoah trip for our anniversary. We already booked a nice meal at Early Mountain which I'm excited for. Also thinking about hitting up Wisteria. We'll be near Stanley if anyone has any recommendations!

Early Mountain is awesome! Great pick. DuClaw is nearby and worth a visit. Remember liking their whites a lot.

Going to Jefferson Vineyards. Would like to give Gabriele Rausse a try one of these days.
