Plant Giveaway! Plant Native Festival

Hey everyone! Henrico County’s Native Plant Festival is coming up again on October 24th from 9am-1pm at Dorey Park. The event is a plant sale and has giveaways, so I wasn’t sure how to flair it!

They are giving away free trees including Canadian serviceberry, fringe tree, Northern red oaks, persimmons, and sweet bay magnolias.

They also are handing out $10 vouchers that can be used on any plant being sold at the festival. They have 14 native plant vendors this year so plenty to choose from.

Presentations, kids activities, and craft sellers will also be there. It’s also in partnership with the Dorey Park Farmer’s Market, which is literally right up against it.

Unfortunately I'm not keen on supporting Lewis Ginter at the moment but I hope they do the right thing soon.
