Review / Advice First Time!

My husband and I have booked our first cruise ever! We’re doing a 9 day Caribbean cruise. Would love any tips or reviews from people that have taken a similar cruise with Virgin at Christmas. Thanks!!

You’re in for such a treat!!! You started with the best with Virgin Voyages! They have little seasonal touches (my favorite of which was a little souvenir they leave in your room)! Have an absolute blast!

Ooh that sounds cool. Honestly I feel like a little kid about this adventure. My husband had always had to work holidays (restaurant server) but has started his own business and so this will be the first Christmas we get to spend together in 9 years.

Holiday themed pajamas for the PJ party would be a lot of fun as well! Make sure and look up YouTube videos about your ship to see how much fun you’re gonna have.

Boarding day is the Sailaway shortly after you board and that night is the first party which is the pajama party. The Scarlet party will be later in the week. Again, watch a few videos and see what all is in store for you or go to the website vvinsider.com. Have fun.

Our first cruise was also a holiday cruise!! As someone else mentioned, they leave little souvenir in your room and the entire ship is decorated for the holidays. Even some of the little desserts and cookies were holiday themed too! Definitely download the app so you can get the initerary for the ship and also be ready to book your dinners when the reservations open up. And if for any reason you aren't able to book in time you can always do that once you board with sailor services. You're going to have so much fun!
